What are the band’s requirements…stage..power..food etc?
Adequate Power Source: Please ensure that your event venue has an adequate power source. We require a supply of 3k watts, single phase. The band also requires you to supply two separate power drops eg two separate 13 amp sockets to which we can attach four way extension leads – this enables us to keep our lights and PA system on separate power sources.
Food: We ask that each member of the band is provided with a meal at your event, ideally no later than one hour before our first set is due to start. We often start early to travel to events and play long into the night and need a meal in-between.
Access and changing area: We ask that you ensure there is suitable access for the band to bring in their sound equipment. The closer we can get our vehicles to the stage the better. If possible, it would be helpful if you there is a room for the band to change and to keep out of the way when not performing.
What happens when you aren’t playing?
If we are using our own sound system we are happy to provide a playlist for the times we are not performing which will be at no extra cost. You may also provide your own ipod, laptop to play through our system if you have specific playlists that you want to hear.
For how long does the band play?
This varies depending on each event. To give you an idea, we will often play two one-hour sets for weddings and parties and one main set for corporate parties or festivals. We are happy to talk through your requirements and make sure the timings suit your event.
Can I choose the songs you play?
We play all types of events from weddings, parties, corporates and but we don’t run from a set list. We prefer to play to the crowd which ensures the dance floor is always full.
You are more than welcome to have a look through our set list and make some suggestions of songs you would like us to play.
Can we come to watch the band perform before booking?
The majority of our events are private parties and functions but there are generally a few public bookings a month to enable you to come and watch us play live. We do recommend that you check our videos and sound recordings as these give a good idea of us playing live.
How far do you travel?
We travel far and wide playing events in the UK, Europe and beyond. Let us know where you event is being held and we can work out an all inclusive quotation.
How do I secure my booking?
When you are ready to book The Royal T’s we will email you a contract confirming all of the details for your event.
Once we have received your deposit, we can secure your booking for the date of your event.
What information do you need for a quote?
Please provide as much of the following information as possible:
